What type of therapy do we offer?

There is no single “right” way to approach therapy. Each person brings their own story, experiences, and needs, which is why an Integrative approach can be so helpful as it draws on a range of therapeutic theories. This allows us to work flexibly and tailor support in a way that feels right for you.

Integrative Therapy

Integrative therapy brings together different therapeutic models rather than relying on just one. This means your therapist can adapt their approach to suit you as an individual—your personality, your experiences, and what you hope to gain from therapy. It recognises that people are complex, and so therapy should be too.

Person-Centred Therapy

At the heart of person-centred therapy is the belief that you are the expert on your own life. Your therapist offers a safe, non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace. Through empathy, acceptance, and genuine understanding, this approach supports you in finding your own answers and direction.

Psychodynamic Therapy

Psychodynamic therapy focuses on how past experiences, particularly from early life, may shape how we feel, think, and relate to others today. By gently exploring these patterns, therapy can help bring greater awareness and understanding, allowing for meaningful and lasting change.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

CBT looks at the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. It can help identify unhelpful patterns and develop practical strategies to manage them. This approach is often helpful for anxiety, depression, and specific challenges where building coping tools can make a real difference.

Trauma-Informed Therapy

Trauma-informed therapy recognises the impact that difficult or overwhelming experiences can have on both the mind and body. The focus is on creating safety, building trust, and working at a pace that feels manageable. You remain in control throughout the process.

Couples Counselling

Couples counselling offers a supportive space to explore relationship dynamics, communication patterns, and areas of difficulty. Whether you are experiencing conflict, feeling disconnected, or wanting to strengthen your relationship, therapy can help you understand one another more deeply and find new ways of relating.

Our Approach

Whatever brings you to therapy, we believe the relationship between you and your therapist is at the heart of the work. We aim to offer a warm, respectful, and collaborative space where you feel heard, understood, and supported.

You don’t need to know which approach is right for you—that’s something we can explore together.

I am what I choose to become “
